No matter how small, the internal combustion engine is a fairly complex mechanism. And, like all complex mechanisms, this one can break down. The problem is that unlike the electronics or electric motor which just stops doing its job when broken, an internal combustion engine often continues operating. And this can be dangerous because the assembly may destroy itself in a matter of minutes of running with no oil or when it's overheating. That’s the reason why your ATV’s powerplant is equipped with various sensors that warn either you or the motor’s electronics when something starts to go wrong.
Think of the engine temperature and oil pressure sensors as of the first-aid kit. You’re supposed to never really need it, but you’d better have it in place in case you do. The cost of the sensor is incomparably lower than the cost of the engine overhaul which naturally and inevitably comes after the motor seizure. So, these and other sensors and switches have to be always in good order. With our online store, it won’t be any difficult or expensive.
