If you're traveling with friends or family, communicating with each other is a key factor making your trips much more enjoyable. Naturally, motorcycles and ATVs are quite loud by their nature, so talking to your buddies while riding can be somewhat challenging. Fortunately, there is a perfect solution that allows you to stay in contact with other riders in your group almost effortlessly – helmets with headsets. Based in Tucson, Arizona, J&M Corporation has gone the extra mile to provide riders with quality audio & communication systems.
Thanks to Bluetooth and other advanced technologies, today these systems are more effective than ever. The company offers three series of headsets: Performance, Elite, and Bluetooth. The first lineup utilizes high-output mount-in-helmet speakers and AeroMike miniature microphones. Such kits allow for a reduction in wind and ambient noise, while a two-piece cord allows for connecting them easily to pretty much any stock audio setup. The Elite series features enhanced speakers and more advanced AeroMike microphones specifically retuned for the latest VOX-activated audio systems.
The Bluetooth series offers the finest audio performance available, with a wireless rider/passenger helmet-to-helmet intercom and SmartBlu linking technology. The latter makes for an easy connection to most Bluetooth audio equipment including stock systems found in the latest Honda Gold Wing, Indian Chieftain, and many Harley models. Actually, the company is more focused on large cruisers and touring bikes, but some goods in its assortment can be adapted to powersports vehicles. Besides, there are handlebar-mounted audio devices that feature a forty-channel CB radio, NOAA weather band, rider/passenger intercom, auxiliary audio input for an MP3 player or other music gadgets, etc. All knobs and controls of such a device are easy to use even with gloves on, yet it's water-resistant and can be used in the rain.
