Getting onto the seat of your personal watercraft means enjoying plenty of open water space, sun, and fun. However, your PWC and its motor in particular have to be in good shape. The engine was engineered to operate on the mixture of fuel and air. Gasoline is atomized, intermixed with air, compressed, and ignited. The pistons move down and up while rotating the crank and everything attached to it. Supplying air and fuel in the right proportion is necessary for a smooth combustion process, and intake manifolds are designed to provide the flow of air and distribute it among the cylinders.
