    • LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
      • Rigid is proud to design, engineer, and produce the highest quality lighting products for your use. While Rigid utilizes the best manufacturing practices, there are occasional cases of product failure, and this warranty covers these instances.

      • Rigid warrants that this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship. After inspection, Rigid will verify that the defect was not caused by negligence, abuse, unauthorized repair or disassembly. Rigid will determine whether the product will be repaired or replaced in accordance with Rigid Limited Lifetime Warranty.
      EXCEPTIONS
      • A shortened warranty period extends to the Products, in whole or in part, as indicated:

      • 10-Year Warranty. All Products in the Radiance product line, including light bars and pods.

      • 5-Year Warranty. All Products used in commercial and/or industrial applications, including, without limitation, manufacturing, mining, agriculture, processes using heavy chemicals, or applications subjected to high vibration.

      • 3-Year Warranty. All TruckLite® brand headlights.

      • 2-Year Warranty. All accessories (except flashlight accessories), all covers, all mounts, all kits (except that lights included in a kit are not subject to this exception), and all other items offered as part of a closeout or discontinued sale.

      • 1-Year Warranty. All powder coat finishes and cosmetic coatings, all Products in the UWL (Under Water/Wake Flame) product line, all interior dome lights, all flashlights & flashlight accessories, all Products in the Reflect product line (except that the light engine and mirror are not subject to this exception), and the GPS module in all Products in the Adapt product line.

      • No Warranty. All mirrors incorporated into the Reflect product line. All Products in the Capture product line that have not been registered by the End User after purchase.
      SERVICES & TRANSFERABILITY
      • RIGID does not warrant and claims no liability for any charges incurred by any Purchasing Entity relating to installation, repair, or removal of Products.

      • Transferability. Any warranty provided under this Warranty Policy is non-transferable.
    • HOW DOES THE LIFETIME WARRANTY WORK?

      Your light has a lifetime warranty for internal manufactures failures only.


      For the Radiance light line, your light comes with a 10 year internal warranty.


      Customer damages are not covered under warranty, such as collisions rocks or debris strikes.

      Warranty Exceptions


      • 10 year limited warranty – All Radiance Product Line (Light Bars & Pods)
      • 13 year limited warranty – All Truck-Lite Headlights
      • 12 year limited warranty – All products with powder coat/finish wear (RIGID uses the highest quality materials available. Depending on environment, powder coat can fade). Additional 2 year limited warranty products include accessories, covers, mounting options, kits (excluding light, see limited lifetime warranty), and all other items that RIGID offers as part of a closeout or discontinued sale.
      • 11 year limited warranty – UWL (Under Water/Wake Flame) Series of lights, Interior Dome Lights, flashlights, flashlight accessories, Reflect housing, Reflect body, Reflect Clamp and ADAPT GPS Module.
      • 1No warranty offered – Reflect Mirror

      RIGID, at its sole discretion, will determine the proper handling of all warranty claims. All warranties, expressed or implied, are void if our warranty claim department determines that there is sufficient evidence of one or more of the following:


      1. Negligence: Improper installation, improper use, etc.
      2. Abuse: Road hazards, Damage beyond the limits of "normal wear and tear."
      3. Unauthorized Repair: Repair service performed by an unauthorized service center.
      4. Seal Tampering: Removal of bezel or bezel screws will compromise the integrity of the water-tight seal.
      DO I NEED MY RECEIPT FOR MY WARRANTY?
      • Yes, a receipt is required for all warranties and registrations. Claims will be denied if a proof of purchase or registration cannot be provided at the time of the claim.
      MY LIGHT ISN'T WORKING. SHOULD I DISASSEMBLE IT AND TROUBLESHOOT IT?
      • No! Rigid lights are precision assembled in such a way to ensure no moisture can get into the light. Disassembly can destroy this seal and will void the warranty.
      CAN I RUN MY RIGID LIGHT WITH A 14-VOLT A/C SIGNAL?
      • No. The Rigid lights were designed for DC voltage. Lights operated at 14-volt A/C may not be damaged but could flicker or appear dim.
      WHAT'S THIS LITTLE BLACK STICKER ON THE BACK OF MY LIGHT? CAN I TAKE IT OFF OR SPRAY PAINT OVER IT?
      • No! This is a GORE® pressure equalizing vent and is critical in keeping moisture out of your light. Please do not remove it or paint over it.
      CAN I MOUNT MY LIGHT VERTICALLY WITH RIGID SUPPLIED MOUNTING BRACKETS?
      • Rigid mounting brackets were designed and tested assuming the light is installed in the horizontal direction. Installing lights in the vertical direction could cause premature failure of the bracket.
