Product Details
Cylinder Stud by Kibblewhite®. KPMI High Performance Cylinder studs are made from 180,000 psi yield strength, fine grain, heat treated, premium grade 8740 material. Threads are rolled after heat treating to ensure maximum compressive stresses are retained, ensuring maximum strength, and the longest fatigue life possible. The case end threads are designed to have a slight interference fit to maintain good thread contact at high temperature. Studs are centerless ground to ensure concentricity, and finished with a premium black oxide treatment for an excellent appearance.
