Heavy Duty Mosfet Regulator Relocation Upgrade by RMStator®. Brand new Mosfet voltage rectifier regulator. STOP BURNING YOUR REGULATOR RECTIFIER ! It is time to update or replace your voltage regulator with the advanced MOSFET type. It runs cooler than all OEM diode style regulators. In addition, this rectifier has overheat protection, rather than burn up it will simply turn off for a while and cool off. Why use Mosfet Enhanced technology? . Runs cooler . Runs much cooler than the traditional Shunt voltage regulator rectifier. Saves gas . Less load on the stator, less work, less fuel is used and you save. Regulated energy . The power charging your battery is steadier and smooth. Extended battery life . Extends the battery’s life and cold cranking capacity. More engine power . Removes stator load resulting in more engine power. Optimized power . Optimize power delivery by switching the stator coils on or off. How does a Mosfet regulator rectifier work? With design . This product is an advanced design that lowers operating temperatures for extended longevity and better performance than the OEM part.

RZR Regulator Relocation Instructions
Step 1:
Remove original and mounting bracket from driver side rear wheel well area. Bracket is mounted to body with 10mm nut/bolts, accessible from inside the cab and underneath. Remove regulator from bracket with 10mm nut/bolts. We suggest reusing the bracket for your new regulator mount.
Step 2:
Separate Red & Black battery connections, made at starter solenoid and chassis bolt. 2-wire sealed and locking connector version not shown. Unplug just like Stator connector above. Remove rear seats on 4-seat models. Remove rear access hatch. Unplug regulator’s stator and battery connections. Stator connector is the 3-wire sealed and locking connector. Depending on which regulator you have, the battery connection is either Black & Red wires with ring terminals, or a 2-wire sealed and locking connector. Separate Black & Red wires with ring terminals: Black wire is battery -, grounded to a chassis bolt. Red wire is battery +, connected to the starter solenoid. 2-wire sealed and locking connector with Black & Red wires: Unplug connector.
Step 3:
Plug in regulator relocation harness, similar to previous step.
Step 4:
Remove shifter tunnel housing that covers front driveshaft for access. Route relocation harness along driveshaft tunnel towards front of vehicle, using wire ties to secure along the way.
Step 5:
Reusing original regulator mounting bracket, mount new regulator in front underhood area. Keep regulator as high as possible, away from heat-generating sources, and away from tires and potential mud, water and debris. In these pictures we’ve reused 2 empty holes located in the firewall on the drivers side that are spaced perfectly for the mounting bracket. We have reused the original mounting bracket hardware. Plug in the relocation harness to the regulator. The connectors are Black and Grey, color-coded to their connections on the regulator. Make sure to push in connectors until the locking tab clicks into place to secure the connection.
Step 6:
Reinstall driveshaft tunnel, rear access hatch, and seats. You are ready to ride!
Warning:
Risk of electric shock. Disconnect the battery before servicing.
Ensure proper installation by a qualified technician to avoid malfunction.
