Riding an ATV is quite engaging, yet it may be challenging to control it on rugged terrain at times. You need to keep the proper posture and balance, lean forward, and sometimes stand on the floorboards when going uphills, all while interacting with the shifter, throttle, and brake lever/pedal. Stock foot controls may not fit you and your riding style. However, in order for you to operate your machine in a safe and comfortable way, the levers should be of the length and angle that suits you, making it easier for you to engage the brakes and clutch.
