Riding your snowmobile over snow-covered terrain gives you lots of fun. Your snowmobile is equipped with a capable engine that generates enough horsepower to take you to your destination no matter how many snowdrifts are on your way. However, it also produces lots of heat when operating. Modern sleds are equipped with a cooling system that prevents the motor from overheating. That’s made possible by circulating the special fluid over it. It’s known as a coolant and contains one part of an antifreeze (either propylene or ethylene glycol) and one part of distilled water.
The antifreeze is a specially blended fluid that has an extremely high boiling point and low freezing point. Two types of antifreeze can never be mixed. To make it easier to differentiate them from each other, manufacturers dye them in different colors, namely green and orange. There are plenty of reputable brands including Maxima Racing Oils, Yana Shiki, and many others which offer their snowmobile engine coolants on our digital shelves. That means you can purchase with confidence from us. Whatever product you go with, you’ll get nothing but the highest possible quality.
