Snowmobile Tubes

The way that the tires perform depends on the inner tubes that you use. Be sure to choose the correct size for the new tube to fit right inside the tire creating an air cushion for a safe, smooth ride. All inner tubes have a small valve for inflation and you also need to choose the right valve stem configuration. Here you can find a wide range of inner tubes available in numerous sizes and designed for average and heavy-duty applications. We carry virtually all types of replacement and special tubes from reputable manufacturers.

Most tubes feature a Schrader valve. Invented and patented in the United States more than a century ago, it's also known as an American valve. It can be found in the tires of most cars and trucks all around the globe, and powersports vehicles are no exception. The valve consists of a metal stem and inner core having a small spring and rubber seals for tightness. The stem has an outer and inner thread. The former is used to fix the valve, connect an air pump or compressor, and put a protective cap. The inner thread is there to screw the core.

Also, many valves have a mounting base for proper installation inside of a tube. Schrader valves come in several types having certain differences – TR-4, TR-4S, TR-4C, TR-6, TR-6M, and some others. Available in straight or angled shapes, all of these types have the same diameter and inner construction, but the stem's length and size of the mounting base can be different. Besides, there is another factor that allows modern tubes to reliably serve for a long while and perfectly keep pressure – the material they are made from. There is a large variety of common and special grades of rubber out there, used in different industrial sectors and composed of various compounds and properties.
