Radial Seal Outer Air Filter (46438) by WIX®. Considering as much as 10,000 gallons of air must pass through the air filter for every gallon of fuel the engine consumes, WIX air filters play a vital part in preventing foreign particles like soot, carbon and abrasives from entering the fuel mix and damaging your engine. WIX air filter media features nine pleats per inch, resulting in a longer life and the ability to capture more engine-killing contaminants. WIX radial air filters feature a mesh screen on the inside and outside walls for element strength and media protection from backfire. Each filter is held together with heat-resistant plastisol with specially designed seals on the top and bottom walls and an adhesive seal that joins the media ends.

Warranty

WIX warrants its products to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 12 months. The warranty period begins on the date the product is delivered.

The warranty is granted to the end-user and applies to products which are purchased, installed, and used for the purposes for which they are originally designed. This warranty covers defects arising under normal use and does not cover malfunctions or failures resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, or incorrect maintenance.

During the warranty period, WIX will repair or replace, at no charge, a product that is defective in materials or workmanship. WIX reserves the right to either repair or replace a defective component at its discretion and reserves the right to substitute an equivalent product under the terms of this warranty.
