Goods are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for the life of the Goods (or the published recommended replacement interval specified by Gates). Gates will replace or repair, at its option, any Goods proved defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period. This is the sole remedy for breach of warranty. Color fade and color difference is not warranted. This warranty is void if the defect is caused by improper installation, use or maintenance of the Goods, or used for racing or competition. Goods are not warranted to comply with laws that may apply to uses of the Goods not stated in related materials, e.g., use in manned or unmanned aviation or life support applications.

All other warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are expressly disclaimed. Failure to replace timing belts or other gates products as specified may result in catastrophic engine or equipment damage, for which gates disclaims all responsibility, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Just Average

I’ve used OEM, Gates entry level, mid grade, and the Redline versions on my Sportsman 570. The claim that the Redline is the best as tested under rigorous conditions is talk. When put to the real test, fail just like all the others. I’ve learned paying for the high priced belts gets me no added time, just costs double. Warranty, how when all that’s left are small chunks and strands. Hardcore Canadian rider!!

The belt fits perfect on my Gator 825i. I haven’t had it long enough to determine the longevity, but it seems like great quality. I’m hoping it will last years.

Heavy Duty Belts No Good!

I bought 2 heavy duty belts for my Arctic Cat Alterra 500. The original belt went out at 14months. The first heavy duty belt lasted 4 hrs. The second lasted 6hrs. I wasted lots of money and time on the phone and web to find out that the heavy duty belt was the problem. I put an Arctic Cat belt on it and she’s still purring like a kitten. Need more information about what’s the best application and not the best application from people who have used the belts.

The belt looks and appears to be stronger than an OE belt and fits perfect. It was an easy install and the break in process went very well.

Gates Belt for Kawasaki Mule 4010 Diesel

Great belt for the price! Looks and feels like quality, always had good experiences with gates products. Installation was a little difficult with what little room you have to work with in a Kawasaki mule, but all in all it wasn't bad! There's a noticeable difference between my OEM belt and this one, much better throttle response and overall better performance!
