Powersports Wheel Chocks

It is incredibly fun to explore new forest trails, conquer mud pits, climb rocks, bash dunes, or race among the hills, but first, you need to deliver your ATV or UTV to such a place. One of the most efficient and secure ways of transporting your quad or side-by-side is using a properly equipped trailer or truck bed. Powersports wheel chocks are designed to help you get your machine to the dirt safely and easily. They secure the wheels of your vehicle while allowing you to feel more confident when loading it into the bed of your truck or trailer.

By using strong, high-quality tie down straps, you can make sure that your quad or side-by-side stays locked firmly in place while you are delivering it to the site or back home. Wheel chocks are designed to limit the forward motion of your powersports vehicle during the loading process. It is especially useful when you need to park your machine and stabilize it at the exact location in the trailer or truck bed to avoid hitting the wall or other, previously loaded vehicles and equipment. Some chocks are designed to be permanently mounted to the trailer or bed floor, and some feature a quick-release, self-locking construction.

Removable wheel chocks come with easy-to-unlock fasteners. They securely hold the contraption in place when it is used and are barely noticeable when you take down your wheel chocks. If you often use your trailer or flatbed for other purposes, consider installing recessed chokes for the front wheels of your ATV or UTV. Such an accessory works as a hinged door that stops the wheel when it is opened. When closed, this “door” is lowered into the well becoming completely flush with the floor. Also, this well can be used for storing tie-downs. To resist rust and oxidation, our wheel chocks feature durable finishes, including chrome plating and powder coating.

To keep the vehicle in the parked position when traveling on rough terrain or during long-distance trips, besides securing it with tie-down straps, consider using additional blocks or wedges. Some models of wheel chocks feature a special cradle that pivots when the front wheel rolls over thus locking it in place. The majority of wheel chocks offered in our store are manufactured from heavy-duty, durable steel tubing. You can opt for chokes made from aircraft grade aluminum featuring a boxy design. They are great if you love to park your four-wheeler into the same spot each time you put it into a garage.

On the digital shelves of our online store, you can find an extensive collection of wheel chocks, replacement hardware, self-locking fasteners, and other related parts by some of the most well-respected brands in the industry, such as Erickson, Fire Power, Pit Pal, K&L Supply, Pit Posse, Snappin Turtle, and many others. It is recommended to tie down at least two of the wheels of your four-wheeler (front ones if the vehicle faces forward on the trailer or bed). If you want to tie down your machine through the hook on the back or over the winch mounts in the front, beware that the straps may get loose and unhook due to suspension flexing down when hitting road bumps.
