Most powersports vehicles, be it a snowmobile, personal watercraft, or side-by-side, are used seasonally and stored in a garage during the off-season. However, even the most careful storage influences their condition, and the battery is one of those parts that may need your attention when the new season begins. The problem is, no batteries can hold a charge forever. They gradually lose it; in the winter, this process goes somewhat quicker than in the warm season. Available in different designs and configurations, they feature advanced microprocessors that can determine the current battery status and even voltage (6 or 12 V) depending on the model.
