Gas Gas is a Spanish manufacturer founded in 1985 and best known for its motorbikes for trials and enduro. Starting in 2002, the company's assortment was supplemented with quads, the Wild HP 300 and Wild HP 450 (the number means engine displacement in cubic centimeters). The 300cc and 450cc engines have many differences besides their displacement. Both are single-cylinder engines, but the former is a two-stroke motor equipped with a Keihin 38 mm PWK carburetor, while the latter is a four-stroke engine using the fuel injection system by Magneti Marelli. The 300cc engine develops 50.6hp, while the larger motor makes 56hp. The difference in maximum power seems to be not that big, but some owners of the Wild HP 450 inform that its power is perfectly distributed over a wide RPM range, i.e. it feels rather torquey where many other quads lose power. In 2006, another lineup of ATVs was added – the Line K, which included the models equipped with four-stroke carbureted 50cc, 110cc, and 250cc engines.

Regardless of the engine displacement, all the Wild HP models produced before 2007 were available in either blue or red color, and all newer models of this line were black only. But unfortunately, it's difficult (or even impossible) to find the quad by Gas Gas produced after 2015. Anyway, all of them are excellent all-terrain vehicles featuring good performance and handling.
