Italika is a leading Mexican manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, which was founded in 2005 and quickly gained enormous popularity in Mexico. Afterwards, Italika started developing and assembling proprietary models – its big factory in Toluca is capable of producing approximately 300,000 motorcycles per year. Italika ATV 150 SPORT, ATV 180, and ATV 250 NEGRA quads feature a sporty off-road design. The frame construction located in front looks like a brush guard and adds some ruggedness to the vehicle. All engines in these ATVs are quite efficient four-stroke single-cylinder powerplants equipped with capacitor discharge ignition (CDI) and featuring electric start. The number in a model name implies engine displacement in cubic centimeters. The 150cc engine develops 7.65 hp at 7,500 rpm and 5.5 lb-ft of torque at 5,500 rpm; the maximum speed of the ATV 150 SPORT is 28 mph approximately. The 180cc motor is mightier – 9.38 hp at 6,500 rpm and 8.1 lb-ft at 5,500 rpm. The 250cc engine with its 14.8 hp and 11.4 lb-ft of torque is the most powerful among these motors, but it has to power a heavy quad – the ATV 250 weighs 551 lb, which is much more than the weight of the 150 or 180 model. The maximum speed of the ATV 250 NEGRA is about 50 mph. Also, it has disk brakes on all wheels, while other two quads have them on the rear wheels only (the front brakes are drum-type).

Like in the case of Italika motorcycles whose engine displacements typically don't exceed 250cc, ATVs by this company don't have really large motors.
