As for single-riders, you can find many models – the Alterra 90, Alterra 150, 500, Alterra MudPro 700 LTD, Alterra VLX 700 EPS, and more. The versions powered by single-cylinder 443cc and 695cc engines have an EFI fuel system, while smaller motors are carbureted. Besides that, these ATVs have a similar drive system as the side by sides mentioned above and optional electronic power steering (EPS). Many models such as the Alterra 500 can be used for farming – their receiver hitches, durable racks, and tubular steel frame make them more utilitarian and reliable.
