UTV Valves & Valvetrain Parts
The purpose of the valves in your UTV is to open and close the cylinders in order to make the engine’s operating cycle complete. For the most modern UTV engines, it’s a four-stroke cycle consisting of intake, compression, combustion, and exhaust taking place in this exact sequence inside each of the cylinders. For compression and combustion, no valves open while keeping the chamber well-sealed. What opens the valves are the lobes of the camshaft(s) acting on the valves via lifters or shims. What returns the valves back to their initial position are the springs – the components that belong to what is known as the valvetrain.
This mechanism of an internal combustion engine is essentially everything that helps the valves do their job and includes springs, seals, guides, pushrods (if present), etc. All of them need to be in perfect condition to make sure the engine strokes proceed in an effective fashion and with no excessive wear to the assembly innards. And that implies the replacements made once in a while. If the time for your UTV has come, try our high-quality products. Get them quickly and for a reasonable sum of money.
